Welcome to my blog!
My name is Daniela Ribezzo, I work as Application and End Users’ Marketing Manager Yachting at DSM Dyneema for more than four years.
During the METS 2006, when the DSM Dyneema Yachting Team launched Dyneema® SK78, our low creep grade, we organized a panel discussion with the stakeholders in the industry to start a more in depth communication.
Today we feel like we should communicate even more with you, the end users, in order to better understand your needs and be able to increase yor satisfaction; seen the importance of internet in our daily life, we thought a blog would be an easy and interesting way to start the conversation with you.
However, today we have an extra reason for starting this communication: the commercial launch of Dyneema® SK90!
Later this week you may expect more details about this grade, please let me first introduce you to the DSM Dyneema Yachting Team:
Marcel Alberts is our Global Marketing Manager; he has been working for DSM Dyneema in yachting for over 5 years in different positions and has a very good insight not only about the market, but also about the technical stuffs.
Michelle Rose is our Area Sales Manager in the US; she joined us over one year ago, but has many years of experience in the yachting industry and sailcloth through her work with Saint-Gobain.
Michiel de Kock is our Area Sales Manager in Asia; he has been working with DSM Dyneema for over 10 years in different positions and has a lot of experience in the global yachting market, and the technical requirements in this application.
Jeroen Dorenbusch is the youngest in our team; he has joined DSM Dyneema 3 years ago and has been working in different positions. Jeroen is our Area Sales Manager EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa) and has been learning very fast about this industry.
Although we are not sailors by background, we have learned very much about yachting in the past years and really enjoy it! Whenever possible we try to hit the water.
I hope this blog will give us the opportunity not only to share ideas with you, but also to learn trends and requirements for the yachting market.
